Privacy Policy

Last updated 30 August 2026. This policy explains what personal data ACCA AI collects, why we hold it, and how you can remove it.

Who we are

ACCA AI (“we”, “us”) provides football statistics, probability modelling and analysis at www.accaai.co.uk and in the ACCA AI application. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

Data we collect

  • Account information. Your email address and an encrypted password, created when you register. We do not store your password in readable form.
  • Authentication data. Session tokens and sign-in timestamps needed to keep you signed in and to secure your account.
  • Subscription status. Whether your account is on a free, trial, promotional or paid plan, plan renewal dates, and any promotional access code you redeem.
  • Payment records. Payment amounts, currency, dates and the payment reference supplied by our payment processor. We never receive or store your full card details.
  • Application usage. Basic technical records such as errors and request logs generated when you use football features. These are used to keep the service working and are not used to build advertising profiles.

Football fixtures, statistics, probabilities and results are not personal data. They are produced by our model from third-party sports data and are the same for every user.

How we use your data

  • To create and secure your account and sign you in.
  • To determine which features your subscription or promotional code gives access to.
  • To process subscription payments, renewals, refunds and accounting records.
  • To diagnose faults, prevent abuse and improve reliability of the service.
  • To contact you about your account or material changes to the service.

Our lawful bases are performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, fault diagnosis, service improvement) and legal obligation (financial record keeping).

Service providers

  • Hosting, database and authentication. Our application, database and authentication are hosted on managed cloud infrastructure. Your account record and subscription status are stored there.
  • Stripe. Card payments and subscription billing are handled by Stripe. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never seen or stored by ACCA AI. Stripe processes your data under its own privacy policy.
  • RevenueCat and app store billing. If and when we offer in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play, subscription entitlements may be managed by RevenueCat and the relevant app store. Those services would receive a pseudonymous subscriber identifier and purchase details only.
  • Sports data providers. We receive fixtures, results and odds from third-party sports data providers. No personal data about you is sent to them.

We do not currently use third-party advertising or behavioural analytics services, and we do not sell your personal data.

Data retention

Account and subscription data is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account we remove your profile, roles, subscription record and promotional redemptions immediately. Financial transaction records are retained in anonymised form (with your identifiers removed) where we are legally required to keep accounting records.

Account deletion and your rights

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone; your session is ended and you are signed out.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access, correct, export or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

Children

ACCA AI is intended for adults aged 18 or over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
